To meet the specific requirements of your project as effectively as possible, we offer a broad range of different materials. In addition to corrosion-resistant clamping inserts made of POM plastic and integrated butyl sealing compounds, EPDM, PVC, TPE, silicone and NBR are our most commonly used materials. This page provides an overview of their most important resistance properties and operating temperatures.
Most of our edge protection profiles are made of PVC, although we also offer profiles made of silicone and TPE. Silicone profiles are characterised by their particularly high temperature tolerance (-60 to 200 °C) and, in most cases, are also skin-compatible and food-safe. TPE profiles are slightly harder and have a high-quality, smooth surface texture. EPDM and PVC are the two most resistant materials in our range. Most of our sealing profiles therefore consist of a PVC carrier profile and an EPDM seal. However, we also offer a large selection of sealing profiles made entirely of EPDM, as well as sealing profiles made of NBR, silicone or TPE. In addition to seals in the form of round cords or square profiles made of EPDM, silicone or NBR, with NBR being the only material resistant to petrol, we also offer EPDM glazing profiles and PVC note-shaped profiles.
