NBR sponge rubber square profile 5x20 mm – oil-resistant self-adhesive rectangular profile

This 5x20 mm square profile made of NBR sponge rubber is the right choice when an oil- and fuel-resistant seal is required. The nitrile-rubber-based material impresses with its special resistance to oils, greases and fuels and is therefore ideal for industrial applications as well as use in mechanical and vehicle engineering. Thanks to the self-adhesive version on one side, the profile can be installed quickly and easily without the need for additional adhesive.

With a hardness of approx. 15° Shore A, the material is soft-elastic yet robust enough for durable seals. It is particularly adaptable and seals reliably at low pressure. The temperature range from -25 °C to +80 °C also allows use under changing climatic conditions. Please note that NBR sponge rubber is not weather-resistant and should therefore preferably be used indoors or in protected environments.

Typical areas of application include seals on machines, engines, pumps and containers where contact with oils, greases or fuels is unavoidable. This profile is also regularly used in industrial apparatus construction, workshops and technical systems. Thanks to delivery in sections up to 50 metres, it is ideal for both small projects and more extensive sealing work.
