EPDM sponge rubber rectangular profile 5x30 mm – versatile sealing and insulation profile

The 5x30 mm rectangular profile made of EPDM sponge rubber is a flexible and reliable sealing profile that performs well for both indoor and outdoor use. Thanks to its cellular, soft structure, the profile adapts optimally to different surfaces and ensures secure sealing. The self-adhesive design on one side allows quick and easy processing, making it ideal for installations without additional adhesive.

The excellent ozone and weather resistance makes this profile particularly durable, while the hardness of approx. 15° Shore A ensures high elasticity. It is temperature-resistant from -40 °C to +120 °C and remains reliable even under extreme conditions. The material also shows good resistance to many acids and alkalis, but is not suitable for contact with oils, greases or petrol.

Typical applications include seals in mechanical and vehicle engineering, construction, as well as on doors, windows and technical systems. The rectangular profile is also frequently used in sound insulation or as an insulation profile. With a 50-metre roll, it is ideally suited for extensive projects.
